Borderless Founder may earn affiliate commissions from approved partner links, currently including Firstbase and doola. The site is also powered by Revlift, which offers AI visibility and growth services. Commercial relationships do not change eligibility warnings, comparisons, direct-filing alternatives or editorial conclusions.
Current and planned revenue streams
The business model is designed around useful free tools and research. A founder can read guides, use tools, check eligibility, compare providers and save local checklists without paying Borderless Founder. Revenue should come only when a user chooses an external partner, requests Revlift help, or later opts into a clearly disclosed email or lead path.
| Revenue stream | Status | User impact | Editorial guardrail |
|---|---|---|---|
| Affiliate links | Active for Firstbase and doola | Borderless Founder may earn a commission if you buy through approved partner links. | Affiliate status does not change warnings, direct-filing alternatives, pricing caveats or who the provider is wrong for. |
| Revlift services | Active owned business | Revlift is promoted to businesses that want more AI/search visibility after formation. | Revlift is separated from formation advice and is positioned only for founders or companies working on growth. |
| Email and research audience | Provider not connected yet | Current email forms save local intent only and offer a manual email fallback. | Hosted email collection should not be connected until privacy wording, provider, consent and deletion flow are ready. |
| Future lead-gen or sponsorship | Planned, not active | Specialist CPA, bookkeeping, tax or product referrals may be considered later. | Any sponsored placement should be labeled, and editorial rankings should still disclose limitations and alternatives. |
Current affiliate partners
The current approved formation affiliate partners are Firstbase and doola. These services can be useful for founders who want guided US formation and post-formation support, but they are not the cheapest possible route and they do not guarantee EIN speed, bank approval, Stripe approval, tax treatment or state compliance.
Explore US formation with optional address, compliance, accounting and tax services. Check the complete recurring scope before buying.
Explore a US formation and compliance bundle designed for founders who prefer more services coordinated through one provider.
Before buying, compare the provider against the provider pricing tracker, the doola vs Firstbase comparison, and the bank eligibility matrix if banking or payment access is the reason you are forming.
Editorial independence rules
Borderless Founder should be monetized, but not at the cost of trust. These rules apply to provider reviews, comparison pages, tool results, affiliate panels, answer pages and future sponsored placements.
- A cheaper direct filing route must be named where it is a realistic option.
- A provider recommendation must include who the provider does not fit.
- Banking and payment eligibility warnings come before formation referrals.
- Affiliate links use sponsored link attributes when they are paid links.
- Provider pricing and policies should be checked against the provider's own documentation before publishing.
- Reviews must say when there is no affiliate relationship, not only when there is one.
- Survey answers stay local-only in the current version and are not sent to GA4.
Corrections and partnership questions
If a disclosure is unclear, a provider link is mislabeled, a price changed, or a recommendation overstates what a partner can do, email founder@revlift.co. Corrections should be prioritized because revenue depends on trust.
